Rashid launched his company as CEO, Little Fat Jimmy, LLC, an organization that promotes the ideal of a better society for our youth. As an independent artist, Rashid is currently touring with Grammy, Emmy, Oscar, and Tony Award winning artist John Legend, is the drummer and Musical Director for Grammy and Billboard Award winning Artist/Actor Jill Scott and has toured with Common, JCole, Alicia Keys, Goapele, N.E.R.D., K Michelle, and Eric Roberson to name a few. Rashid is no stranger to what is required to develop and execute a memorable musical production. We are honored to have him share his knowledge as a Paid 2 Play panelist.
Since graduating in Spring 2018, Daisha has continued to grow her audience with popular freestyle covers, touring and new music. Since going viral in 2015, she has been recognized by musical artists such as Missy Elliot, Chance The Rapper, Alessia Cara, Megan Trainor, G-Easy, KYLE, Lil Dicky and more. She also has been recognized by Thrillst, Genius, NPR & The Tennesseean as an “artist to watch in 2019”. In 2019 she played several music festivals including A3C and a sold out RedBull show. She has been recognized by several news outlets including WVLT channel 8 in Knoxville, TN. She also was the first hip hop act to have a sold out show at the historic First Art Museum in downtown Nashville. She also has recently been featured in Forbes as a key element of Nashville's hip hop scene and also has scored a song in the hit Netflix show "Trinkets".
